Young Dancer Program - School Season Program ages 2-7

Ages 2-4. For a student and caregiver this is a great way to introduce movement & music to the student who may not be ready to be without their adult yet. Classes incorporate play, games, imagination, and make-believe. 

Saturdays 9:00-9:30am

Ages 3-5. Step into the wonderful world of dancing! Our class will guide students through the building blocks of movement using creativity, music, and various props. Alongside learning fundamental dance techniques, students will also develop essential classroom skills such as following directions and practicing cooperation.

Saturdays 9:30-10:00am

Combines music and movement to stimulate areas of the brain that center the understanding of sensory, motor, and cognitive skills. Providing students with special needs the opportunity to take part in dance class that is focused on developmentally appropriate movement structures, opportunities for creative exploration, and the chance to the socialize with peers in a warm and welcoming environment.

Ages 5-7. Ages 5-7. This class is the foundation of Ballet 1. Students learn musicality, levels, pathways, and the basics of technique through imagery and games. Tap is a wonderful addition to for learning rhythm, musicality, and pattern.

Saturdays 10:00-10:45am

Ages 6-10. Baton twirling will focus on the fundamentals of twirling technique with a focus on coordination, flexibility, and body control.  It will mix elements of dance and acrobatics with the use of a baton.  The student will learn to use the baton to create a visual pattern with speed, dexterity, and fluidity. They will learn the foundation of baton twirling elements based on the IBTF’s compulsories.

Thursdays 4:45-5:30pm

Session IV    February 24 - April 5 

Session V     April 7-May 24 (No classes 4/21-4/26)*

* Students ages 3 and up enrolled in this session have the option of participating in our Year End Performance.

$75 for a 30 minute class per week

$85 for a 45 minute class per week
